    • Compartment syndrome: Compartment syndrome is a condition that occurs when the muscles and nerves in a specific area of your body (usually the leg) become compressed. This can cause severe pain, numbness, and weakness.

Your pain is severe or persistent

It could mean you have a blood clot, arthritis, or another serious condition. Do not tend to ignore leg pain, as it can worsen over time and lead to complications.

    Other symptoms accompany your pain

You should see a doctor if your leg pain is accompanied by other symptoms such as swelling, redness, numbness, or weakness. These symptoms could indicate a more serious condition such as DVT or compartment syndrome. The right way to get a diagnosis is to see a leg specialist.

    You have diabetes

If you have diabetes, you should see a leg doctor if you experience any leg pain. This is because diabetes can cause nerve damage, which can lead to leg pain. In addition, diabetes can also increase your risk of developing other conditions that can cause leg pain, such as gout or DVT.

    You are pregnant

Pregnancy can cause various changes in your body, some of which can lead to leg pain. For example, the extra weight that you are carrying can put a strain on your muscles and joints.
